Post Middle School had the great opportunity to hear from Jerry Ackerman, our guest speaker, on Tuesday March 22nd. Mr. Ackerman spoke to students about the importance of making positive connections with others and being an advocate instead of a silent bystander. He also gave students tips for maintaining healthy friendships and creating a safe school where everyone feels welcome and included. Mr. Ackerman also spoke in the evening with middle school parents about social media use and how to help their students navigate this part of their lives. It was wonderful to learn from Mr. Ackerman!
