  • Being Growth-Minded
  • Having fun!

Dear Post Middle School Parents:

In an effort to support communication between our parents and teachers, the staff at Post Middle School would like to invite you to attend Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, November 9th.  The schedule for this year's conferences is as follows:

Thursday, Nov 9th
11:30am - Students dismissed
12:30pm-3:00pm - Afternoon Conferences
3:00pm - 4:30pm - *Staff Break/Dinner - No Conferences
4:30pm - 7:00pm - Evening Conferences

The evening tends to attract more parents, so you may want to participate during the afternoon session if it works with your schedule.

Guidelines for our conference day are as follows:
1.  Enter Post through the front doors and pick up a map and copy your child's schedule.
2. Conferences will take place mainly in the commons and library.  Please enter through the front doors.
3.  Conferences will occur in an open arena format.  You will not be scheduled for a specific time.
4.  Please allow yourself an hour of time.
5.  Teachers will be seated by subject area/grade level.
6.  Locate the teacher(s) you wish to see.
7.  Please limit conference time with each teacher to 4-5 min

We appreciate your continued support of your child's education and thank you for attending these conferences.

The teachers and staff at Post Middle School want to make sure our school is a safe and caring place for your child. If a student feels harassed or threatened in some way, they can make a report at the office. Informal reports may also be made to any staff member. Such complaints will be appropriately investigated and consistently handled. Students may also submit a report using the SafeSchools Alert incident reporting system that’s available on the front page of our school’s website.

As stated in the school board policies and procedures and in our family handbook, harassment, intimidation and bullying will not be tolerated in our school. Our teachers and staff go through training at the beginning of the year to recognize the signs of harassment, intimidation and bullying and report such behavior accordingly.

Your child’s safety and well being is a priority for us. We want them to thrive in a positive environment that promotes learning. Please call our main office, at 360-618-6450, if you have any questions.
